Gremi church is located in Kakheti, homeland of wine, east of Georgia. In Kakheti more than 500 grape varieties are grown leading to prominent winemaking. The first stop is the Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe. St. Nino was the first to spread Christianity in Georgia. The second stop is the City of Love, Sighnaghi. After that comes winery Khareba, which is carved into the rock, there you can degustate notewothy Georgian wines. The final stop is the prosperous capital of Kakheti, Gremi, which was demolished Shah Abbas.
